Arc de Triomphe ticket prices

The monument's official rate is set by the Centre des monuments nationaux, the public body that runs it. Here is what it costs today and when you pay nothing at all.

Official rates

Standard ticket €22.00
Wednesdays €16.00

The monument itself applies a reduced rate on Wednesdays.

Who gets in free

  • Under 18s.
  • Aged 18 to 25, if you are an EU national or a legal resident in France.
  • Visitors with a disability and one accompanying adult.

In every case you must show proof at the entrance: an ID card, passport or the relevant certificate. Without it you pay the standard rate, so carry it even if your age is obvious.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, under the vault, is free to visit: it sits at street level and needs no ticket. What you pay for is going up to the terrace.
